This is your chance to win the right to race a state of the art, professionally prepared, and professionally pit crewed NASCAR Super Late Model! Yes, that's right, the winner of the Driver Search will get to race at Colorado National Speedway in the Robertson Racing late model in at least two events at CNS in the 2011 season. In the contest contestants will compete in two classes of race cars:

The Robertson Racing Driver Search will also employ data acquisition technology on the test cars to help measure each drivers skill.

Every contestant is sure to have the time of their life in the competition but more importantly take advantage of this rare opportunity to get seat time in three professionally prepared race cars. Each contestant will get inside tips and tricks from some of racing's best drivers and car owners. Where else can you test your skills in world-class equipment and get pre and post session advice from the experts? Win or lose every contestant will gain valuable knowledge about becoming a successful race car driver.
SUMMARY OF THE COMPETITION
- Day 1 - Practice day at Colorado National Speedway
- Contestants will be briefed on the testing procedures, rules, and competition structure.
- Each contestant will take a two-seater ride with a championship driver to get the feel for the track and the upcoming competition.
- Each contestant will get 10 practice laps in both types of cars (Modified, Late Model)
- Contestants will get pre-and post practice coaching from the experts.
- Food and beverages will be provided to contestants throughout the day.
- Day 2 - The Competition begins at Colorado National Speedway

- Test your skills in a Grand American Modified (pre & post test coaching).
- Test your skills in a Super Late Model (pre & post test coaching).
- Food and beverages will be provided to contestants throughout the day
- Day 3 - Awards ceremony and fun

- Winner's will be announced during the awards ceremony.
- Every contestant will be given a report of their scores, times, and judging results.
- All test cars will be baselined and tested for performance.
- All judges are well known veteran race drivers, car owners, builders, etc.
- Data acquisition will monitor steering input, throttle input, and brake input.

THE PRIZES YOU ARE COMPETING FOR:

1st Place will win at least TWO NASCAR RACES in a Robertson Racing Super Late Model at CNS during the 2011 season. 1st place will also recieve a testing day at CNS in the late model.

2nd Place will win at least ONE NASCAR RACE in a Robertson Racing Late Model at CNS during the 2011 season. 2nd place will also recieve a testing day at CNS in the late model.

3rd Place will win a testing day at CNS in the late model.

4th and 5th Place finishers qualify for the possible WILDCARD prize. All contestants will receive parting gifts and prizes at the awards ceremony which will take place after the Driver Search.

DRIVER SEARCH ENTRY FEES
$2500 (prior to January 31st. $2900 after that)
$500 Deposit due at registration
ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED
$500 Registration deposit is non-refundable.
$750 Crash deposit will also be required. All contestants will get the crash deposit back after the competition assuming they do not crash any of the test cars.
